Sandra maintains her knowledge by researching various fashion, furniture, interior, architectural, packaging, automotive, and other relevant trend shows throughout the world. 

Sandra has taught fine arts and color theory to children and adults at Young at Art Studios. Her free time is often spent traveling, photographing and viewing museums, gardens and oceans of the world. “It is through travel that others’ traditions, art and cultures start to influence our perception and application of color and design in our own world,” said Sandra. When not busy guiding Simple Modern Style or working in Pet Therapy, Sandra can be found battling the wind and honing her racing skills in a sailboat on the ocean. 

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.

The Artist

Founding principal of Simple Modern Style, Sandra Sampson has more than 17 years of experience as colorist, designer, and art director in design and packaging. Sandra provides strong on-time creative development and project management from concept through implementation. She is known for her consistent, impactful colors, branding and packaging style.

Her passion in color design and trend spotting has led to Sandra becoming a member of the Color Marketing Group, the Premier International Association for Color and Design Professionals. In addition, Sandra studied with leading colorist, Leatrice Eiseman, at the Eiseman Center for Color Information & Training. Eiseman is a color specialist who has been called "America’s color guru," recognized worldwide, and is a prime consultant to Pantone, Inc.
